Bandai Namco trademarks Sparking! Zero in the U.S

Bandai Namco Entertainment filed a trademark for “Sparking! Zero” on September 26 in the United States.

The Dragon Ball Z: Budokai Tenkaichi series is known as the Dragon Ball Z: Sparking! series in Japan. Dragon Ball Z: Budokai Tenkaichi is called Dragon Ball Z: Sparking!; Dragon Ball Z: Budokai Tenkaichi 2 is Dragon Ball Z: Sparking! Neo; and Dragon Ball Z: Budokai Tenkaichi 3 is Dragon Ball Z: Sparking! Meteor.

Bandai Namco announced a new entry in the Dragon Ball Z: Budokai Tenkaichi series back in March, but has yet to announce an official title, platforms, or release date.

According to the trademark, the game's name will be Dragon Ball Z: Sparking! Zero and that a follow-up announcement will be made shortly, at least in Japan.
