In November, PS5 slim models are released

New, thinner PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 5 Digital Edition models will go on sale in November in the United States at a few chosen neighbourhood stores and through PlayStation Direct, with a global rollout to follow in the months that follow, according to Sony Interactive Entertainment. An exact release date of November 10 was revealed in Japan.
In comparison to the previous versions, the new PlayStation 5 models have a volume reduction of almost 30% and weight reductions of 18% (regular) and 24% (Digital Edition). The consoles have four distinct cover panels, two of which are glossy and two of which are matte. Additionally, internal storage has been increased to one terabyte.
The Ultra HD Blu-ray Disc Drive that comes with the standard PlayStation 5 can be added by customers who buy the PlayStation 5 Digital Edition since it is an optional extra.
The new models will come with a horizontal stand, while a new vertical stand that works with all PlayStation 5 models will be available separately.
The new design will be the only versions offered for purchase moving forward once stock of the current PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 5 Digital Edition models has run out.
