Japanese Switch will release the kinetic novel LUNARiA: Virtualized Moonchild in 2024


According to the most recent issue of Weekly Famitsu, PROTOTYPE will release the Switch version of the kinetic novel LUNARiA: Virtualized Moonchild, which was created by Key, in 2024 in Japan.


On December 24, 2021, LUNARiA: Virtualized Moonchild was first made available for PC in Japan. On February 24, 2022, it was made available for iOS via the App Store and Android via Google Play.


Here is the plot summary provided by Key:


Skyout is a cutting-edge VR action-battle race. T-bit is not your ordinary high school student. He’s also an undefeated genius gamer. Day in and day out, he logs into Skyout, winning lots of prize money.

But one day he ends up wandering into a mysterious area. Lunar World, a Moon server whose existence no one knows about. There T-bit meets an AI avatar who introduces herself as LUNAR-Q.

It turns out that she’s a rejected mascot character for the Lunar Surface Development Project, and she dreams of seeing the Earth some day…
