According to the most recent issue of Weekly Famitsu, Prototype will release the Switch version of the Key-created romantic visual novel Kanon in the spring of 2023 in Japan.

Due to the 16:9 aspect ratio of the Switch version's screen, colour changes and event CG scrolling will be available. With the exception of the protagonist, who is only partially voiced, characters are all completely voiced. The voice actors for Makoto Sawatari, Ayu Tsukimiya, Nayuki Minase, and Mai Kawasumi have not changed. Akari Sato appears to be the voice of Shiori Misaka.

In Japan, Kanon first became available for the PC on June 4, 1999. The Dreamcast, PlayStation 2, PlayStation 2, PSP, Android, and iOS all launched shortly after, on September 14, 2000, February 28, 2002, February 15, 2007, and April 4, 2013, respectively. There was never a formal English release.

Gratitude to Ryokutya2089.
