Tower of Fantasy, an open-world multiplayer action-RPG, will be released worldwide

Next Month Tower of Fantasy will launch globally on mobile and PC next month after being available (and well-liked) in China for a while.

It has been possible to pre-register for Tower of Fantasy, a free-to-play, open-world, multiplayer action role-playing game that is presently available only in China. It will be accessible starting at 5 p.m. PT/8 p.m. ET on August 10 (8:00 am Thursday, in Malaysia) in all countries.

Fans of Genshin Impact and The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild will recognise the game's aesthetic, which has an open environment where you can climb and safely fly to the earth from heights. Tower of Fantasy differs significantly from other games in a number of ways, though.

On a planet called Aida, Tower of Fantasy is set in a post-apocalyptic sci-fi anime future. Both vehicles like motorcycles and flying devices like jetpacks will be available to you. Although you can fully customise your avatar, you will also be able to play as pre-made playable characters known as simulacrums.

No class is chosen by you. Instead, the three weapons you have with you control your powers. Combat also organically occurs with other players in the shared world. You won't enter a particular room to engage in combat. You will play and engage in combat with other players so long as you are in the same region on the same server.

The game will support cross-play and cross-progression will be available on PC and mobile devices.
